HIGH TOR HOTEL REFURBISHMENT, MATLOCK, DERBYSHIRE

High Tor Hotel is a grade II listed property located opposite the 'High Tor' cliff in Matlock Derbyshire. Energi Consulting Services Ltd were recommended to the client Total Estates Ltd by another of our existing clients. The property has been totally reconstructed internally whilst maintaining the existing protected historic features and consists of 15 Guest rooms, new kitchen, bar and lounges. There are also plans for a spa retreat behind the existing property for wedding guests to rent exclusively.

Energi Consulting Services Ltd provided a full M&E design for the project and included an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). Low running costs being a priority we have utilised energy saving lighting and controls, high efficiency gas fire heating, combination boiler fed hot water and each room has an energy saving system based upon room occupancy. The property location and National Heritage restrictions limited the low carbon technologies that we could apply to the building services.
